The idea
Your business already has a personality. Design should show it.
Every independent business has something that makes people choose it: the story behind it, the way regulars are greeted, the little details only the owner would think of. Those little details can sometimes get lost somewhere between the logo, the menu and the website.
Skapa exists to make sure it doesn’t, so the feeling people get from you in person is the same one they get from everything you put out into the world.

Skapa Design House is a Philadelphia design studio working with clients across the city and remotely, on branding, websites, menus, marketing materials, custom digital design, and UX/UI and product design.

The name
Skapa is Swedish for create
Alex is Swedish on her father’s side, and “skapa”, the word for create, felt like the right name for the studio.
