Ten reasons to work with us
You work directly with the founder, start to finish
No account manager relaying your notes to someone you never meet. Alex takes the first call, does the design, and hands over the files.
A local who backs local businesses
Skapa is in Philadelphia and works with the businesses and people who make a community feel like one. When your shop does well, so does the neighborhood we both live in.
Product design rigor, not just pretty graphics
Eight years designing software means every layout gets asked the same questions: who is reading this, in what order, and what do they need to do next.
Branding, web, menus and print under one roof
One person holding the whole picture, so the menu, the signage and the website look like they came from the same place. See the six services.
Print-ready files your printer won’t reject
Bleed, color mode and specs set up properly the first time, so nothing arrives cropped, muddy or off color.
Priced for independent businesses, not agencies
Skapa was founded on the idea that good design shouldn’t be reserved for big brands with big budgets. The pricing follows from that.
Honest scoping — told no when a project isn’t a fit
If the work needs someone else, or needs less than you thought, you will hear that on the first call rather than three invoices in.
Want to be hands off on your website?
We can manage it all for you, no stress on your end. Hosting, updates, new pages, seasonal changes — send a note and it gets handled.
Ideas you didn’t think to ask for
Alex keeps an eye out for what else could help your business, and suggests it when it would actually make a difference.
